Cathy serves as an Executive Leadership Team Member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting the overall mission of DCPI. She is responsible for building new relationships, DCPI’s visibility, impact and financial resources.
It is a role she highly enjoys and counts it a privilege to give others an opportunity to partner with God in DCPI’s mission of equipping leaders to plant five million dynamic churches to reach the world for Christ.
How did God call you to DCPI?
“As an adult new believer, my home church had a vision to plant a new church every year for 20 years. I understood the critical importance of planting churches to reach people like me who had either little or no church background. I’m strongly convicted that new churches are the best at helping people find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
By the time my home church was ready to plant daughter church #9, I was asked to join the church planting team as a staff member. Part of my preparation for this God assignment included being introduced to DCPI’s church planting training curriculum.
After serving on several church planting teams, DCPI encouraged me to join them in helping leaders all over the world plant churches that reach people for Jesus Christ.”
What is your personal vision statement, or life scripture?
Vision Statement: “Be a woman with a visible, vibrant faith in God expressed through a life of hopeful expectations, adventurous undertakings and the attraction of others who want to know the source of my faith—Jesus Christ.”
Life Scripture: Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
What excites you about what God is doing around the world?
“I get to meet the BEST people on the planet Earth. Men and women who love Jesus with all their heart and are committed to making Him known and growing His church regardless of personal cost or sacrifice.”
What miracles have you seen God perform?
“God has given me a front row seat to see His miraculous provision as missionaries, His divine connections to key Church Planting Leaders around the world, His supernatural healing of individuals and His powerful love and forgiveness where humanly speaking it seemed impossible.”
