The Goal: 5 Million Churches

Our vision is to train leaders to plant 5,000,000 dynamic churches to reach the world for Christ.

In every country

There are only 22 countries that have never received DCPI training. Our goal is to train people in every country to plant dynamic churches that reach their corner of the world for Christ.

By 2033

Based on our projections, we believe we can train the people who will start all 5 million churches by 2033, the 2000th anniversary of the death and resurrection of Jesus!

James’ Story

In early 2023, Tropical Cyclone Freddy savagely wrecked the countries of Malawi and
Madagascar, killing over 600 in Malawi alone and causing over 500 to go missing. Within months, Christian leaders in the area united together to make plans to bring a lasting hope to the people of Malawi. Twenty-nine Christian leaders from different denominations gathered to receive DCPI’s House Church planting. Together they developed a plan to win their country for Christ.

They could not remember a time when they all laid down their own denominational agendas to pick up God’s mantle together. United together like never before, they have strategically organized trainings all throughout Malawi and the surrounding countries. James was trained by DCPI and told us they have already planted 37 new churches!

Casi’s Story

Casi is a woman from Vietnam who has a vision to establish a group of house churches throughout her community to reach the lost, care for the hurting, and raise up more leaders to reach the world for Jesus.

Within the next 3 years, Casi wants to establish house church networks in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. To do this, she plans to spend the first 12 months discipling 20 committed leaders and winning 200 lost souls to Jesus!

So far, she has 2 weekly house Bible studies with one about to launch. Her prayer team meets regularly, and she directly mentors 6 of her leaders using DCPI principles.

“I have really committed myself to serve the Lord and his people. And I put all my passion into serving him. That’s all I did. I’m nothing but just an instrument. All glory belongs to Him.”

WHAT IS SPONSORSHIP?

By sponsoring a church planter, you, personally, provide the funds for the training they need to start a church in their community. That support equips them to plant a church that lovingly and holistically meets its community’s needs and is a place where people can hear the Gospel, grow in Christ, and live life in Jesus-centered community.

When you become a Pastor Sponsor, you are personally making it possible for one person each month to receive DCPI training.

Your support gives a pastor life-changing information to develop a healthy, effective church. They learn things like how to do effective outreach in their community, how to build their leadership team, how to avoid “church planting landmines,” how to be a prayer-focused church that invites God to work in their community, and how to write a VPT (Vision, Plan, and Timeline) for implementing their God-given vision for their church.

Björn, France
Björn is a DCPI-trained leader who has a heart for multiplying churches in Europe, especially within the Jewish and Muslim communities. Björn is a church planter and a movement leader, and we recently asked him to become our Euro-Mediterranean World Zone Leader.

Sivan, Indonesia
Sivan is a DCPI-trained leader, who we trained entirely online. He and his network of church planters set to work, and they have planted over 35 local churches and 15 house churches in Indonesia. Sivan has a vision to plant 1,000 churches in the next 20 years!

Jon, USA
Jon is a DCPI-trained church planter. After attending a DCPI training, God gave him a vision to plant over 20 churches in the St. Croix River Valley. He and his team launched a Bible school to equip the future leaders of these churches, and they use DCPI curriculum in their church planting classes!

Tony is a DCPI-trained leader with a heart to get next-generation leaders involved in church planting in the Philippines. He and his family started a Church Multiplication Network to equip leaders with DCPI principles, plant many churches, and bring the gospel all over the Philippines.

Jhon is a next-generation leader and church planter in Colombia. After attending DCPI training, Jhon had a heart for getting his generation involved in church planting. He has seen many next-generation leaders get baptized and join his movement to reach Colombia for Christ.

Since Dr. Paul Becker first mentored church planters in San Diego, California, in the early 1990s, DCPI has expanded to serve church planters in

  • 186 countries of the world

  • With over 1.2 million churches planted!

Every pastor who comes to us receives comprehensive training to start vibrant churches wherever God has called them to go. Our goal for 2023 is 82,000 pastors trained, and our goal for 2024 is 92,000 pastors trained!

Tim’s Story

I can say that the DCPI training event in Kenya was one of the best conferences I have ever been part of. We are grateful that during this event the Holy Spirit spoke to leaders and young people who have captured a new heart for evangelism.

We helped to sponsor the registration of 50 young people
from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and South Sudan to come attend DCPI’s NexGen Challenge training and connect with our leaders. I think this group will forever remember these days together. Many of them are committed to follow-up training and to the church planting strategies that they received. We look forward to seeing many people come to Christ and many churches planted in the coming months and years throughout Africa!

Indigenous Leaders

Our indigenous-leader model focuses primarily on
equipping men and women to go into their home community or a nearby community to start a church
in a language they speak in a context they already know. These pastors are infinitely more effective than Americans could ever be at meeting their community’s unique needs and sharing the Good News about Jesus.

Volunteer Trainers

Our church planter trainings are taught by local volunteers on every inhabited continent: that’s 186 countries so far! Why? DCPI Certified Trainers serve with us because of their passion for what they have learned from DCPI training.
These experienced church planters eagerly train others (even across denominations!) so that more leaders can plant more churches. These volunteer Certified Trainers are one of the the key reasons why DCPI’s impact is multiplying so quickly!

It only takes $30 to train a pastor. Each pastor plants, on average, 2.55 churches. Each church leads, on average, 40 people to Christ. How much will you invest in the Kingdom?
