How did God call you to DCPI?

I have known about DCPI for most of my life. My dad is a DCPI-trained church planter, and I helped my family plant New Song Community Church in Oceanside, CA when I was just three years old.

I have taken two separate DCPI vision trips, one to Kenya and one to Panama, and each changed my view of the Lord and of the national leaders DCPI works with around the world.

Then, in 2018, Paul Becker and I met to talk about what it would look like for me to join the team and help write books with DCPI. I immediately jumped on board doing Recruitment for the DCPI team and copywriting for Paul’s and my book Walk on the Wild Side with GodWhen Paul passed away in August, 2022, I expanded my role at DCPI to support all of the creative and communications efforts, and I currently serve as the VP of Brand and Marketing.

What is your personal vision statement, or life scripture?

Life Scripture: 2 Peter 1:4 “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

What excites you about what God is doing around the world?

The DIVERSITY!! Nothing makes my heart smile like all the accents, backgrounds, and traditions working together at DCPI. Seeing God’s power in expanding His Church in so many places in the world is really, really exciting. These are real men and women whose lives have been changed by Jesus, and we get to know them. They are precious to God, and they are precious to me. Now to learn as many languages as possible to be able to talk to all of them!

What miracles have you seen God perform?

Through the power of prayer, I have seen God give children to several of my infertile friends. I have also seen God miraculously heal me of back pain through the healing prayer of an elder in our church.

At our DCPI North America Summit in January of 2019, I received a vision from the Lord. We were praying for open doors for DCPI in many of the countries we were looking to introduce DCPI training to. God showed me four angels deployed rapidly from our room in Vista, California, going eastward. I saw them throw their shoulder forward (like a football linebacker) and bust open doors. I heard four doors slam open on that day. We have waited to see what God would do, and I believe He opened doors in response to prayer at that summit. In 2022, DCPI introduced training to Saudi Arabia, Oman and a couple others that could possibly be the countries whose doors God showed me were opened in response to prayer that day.
