Scott coordinates our training in Europe, as well as the “pioneering” efforts we are making in the North African, Middle Eastern and the “stan” countries (think “Afghanistan” or “Pakistan”).
He also serves as our resident International Pastor and Worship Leader. He has served as a church planter in Italy, Portugal and the USA.
How did God call you to DCPI?
“After pastoring and planting churches in the USA, Italy and Portugal, the Lord called my wife and I back to our home in San Diego County where I had served on the Board of Directors of DCPI in the past. Paul Becker asked if I would be willing to utilize my international experience to help DCPI as a staff member. After seeking the Lord about this, it was clear to my wife and I that this would be the next step in our ministry with Jesus. It looks like the fit is a fruitful and satisfying one.”
What is your personal vision statement, or life scripture?
Vision Statement: “Church Planting, leadership, teaching and leading worship are the primary ministries the Lord has given me to fulfill this vision and role in the Body of Christ”.
Life Scripture: John 4:23,24 – My life vision for many years has been to help people become worshipers of God “in spirit and in truth”.
What excites you about what God is doing around the world?
“Knowing that God is transforming lives by the millions through the church planting pastors and leaders we have trained is the most exciting thing that I can imagine. It happens everywhere we go!”
What miracles have you seen God perform?
“I suppose the biggest miracle of all is that God can use me to help transform lives for eternity. I was the first to come to Christ in my family. Now God has brought all my family members to Himself, and He continues to use us all as His instruments of grace. ”
