Praying for Names
Asif Masih church

How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy

we have in the presence of our God because of you?

1 Thessalonians 3:9

This zone, NAMES, standing for North Africa, Middle East and the ‘Stan’ countries of Central Asia, is full of areas resistant to the Gospel.  It’s obvious to us resistance and frightening world news is not dictating the activity of the Church.  DCPI continues to see  the number of leaders and churches planted increase each year!  The church continues to grow and expand as our DCPI leaders ask the Lord for His vision and then go out to do His will.  2023 was no different.

Pakistan continues to be a country with church planting training and new church plants happening on a regular basis.  They are reaching out in communities and starting house churches wherever they train.   A training was recently hosted in Central Asia with leaders certified to go out to train others to plant churches in 3 different countries we would consider ‘hard soil’.   A new church was planted in the Middle East by a gentleman from West Africa using DCPI’s Orality training.  In Northern Africa, the churches have been so effective that leaders have been put in prison for their efforts.

God’s heart for the world doesn’t change, does it?  Tough soil, persecution, financial struggles, natural disasters … None of this is stopping the love of Christ.  His love for the world prevails.  News and understanding of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection continues to change lives.

Praise:

Passionate trainers continue to train, plant churches and expand the Kingdom of God.

Fear is not stopping the Church from growing in the NAMES region.   Courage and love is a driving force for men and women devoted to Jesus.

Prayer:

This month, 5 DCPI trainers, including Europe World Zone leader, Björn Lütke, will be attending a conference in the Mediterranean region with over 470 participants.  This will be a first for our French-speaking leaders to represent DCPI.  Pray for divine connections with leaders eager to make a greater impact for the Kingdom.

Courage, strength and hope for believers facing persecution in these parts of the world.  May they find strength, protection and joy as they keep their eyes focused on Jesus.

For the connections to begin DCPI in the last of the3 very challenging countries of this region- one in Northern Africa, one in the Middle East and another in Central Asia.

Pray for more connections with ministries and leaders ready for DCPI training in any language!

May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and

holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus

comes with all his holy ones.
