Praying for Europe
Norway Training

During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

Acts 16: 9 – 10

While Asia is bringing something totally new to the table in areas where Jesus is not yet known, this continent is working to bring a new relevant message of the Risen Savior to people that consider Jesus and Christianity a part of their history, not their future.

The effect of the war with Russia and Ukraine continues on.  There continues to be an influx of refugees that are changing the culture and landscape of countries like France.   Acts against other faiths continue to cause widespread persecution for the Church worldwide.  The need for Christ continues to be evident for this small yet diverse region.

DCPI has been meeting the challenges of this diaspora with training available in 29 different languages.  With a solid leadership base set with the DCPI family ministering throughout Europe, there is advancement happening in the Kingdom of God.  And there is more hope for this church in Europe as their attention turns to church multiplication.  May this region find more hope for the faith of the past to be a bigger part of Europe’s faith in the future.

Praise:

Björn Lütke, readily stepped into the role of Europe’s World Zone leader, upon the passing of Robert Tomaschek.  Björn comes to this role with enthusiasm and passion, ready to lead this DCPI family to the next season of training and equipping.

A collective  vision for 120 new church plants was born out of a recent DCPI training where leaders from different denominations throughout Europe came together for one purpose.

There have been many new churches planted throughout Europe as the dispersed Ukrainian diaspora settled in new areas.  They have faithfully brought the Church along with them.

There is a growing awareness and attention given to church multiplication as a means for mission throughout the region.

Prayer:

Comfort, wisdom and guidance for the Tomascheck family in the loss of Robert, our long-standing Europe World Zone leader.

The DCPI Europe team as new people are embraced into the team.  As they work together, may they carry the vision and mission to the next frontier for the many nations and languages they represent.

The Church would be a source of light and hope for all those affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The resources to upgrade the DCPI training materials into all of the 29 languages currently in use throughout the region.  There are more than one training track in some of these languages and a translation can take 2-3 months to complete.

Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.  Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there.
