How did God call you to DCPI?
This is my third time working with DCPI! Both prior times I worked with Dr. Mark Williams, assisting him in the Materials, Human Resources, and Translations Departments. As DCPI grew between 2008 and 2016, additional staff joined the team, and my role eventually focused primarily on assisting Dr. Mark Williams and serving in the Materials Department. This time, I joined DCPI as a volunteer in 2025 to assist in the Financial Department and was brough on part-time. It is a joy to serve with a team focused on training leader to plant churches tjat bring more people into the Kingdom of God!
What is your personal vision statement or life scripture?
The Scripture is one from a familiar story of Mary Magdalene (assumed) using her hair, tears, and precious oil to wash Jesus' feet. The Pharisee, Simon, had questioned if Jesus knew who was touching Him, a sinner! Jesus taught on forgiveness and said, "... her many sins have been forgiven; that's why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little." (Luke 7:47 CSB)
If the King of kings could forgive me of my many sins, how can I not love and serve Him with my whole heart all of my days? It is my motivation in life to serve Him, and through that, help bring people into a relationship with Him!
What excites you about what God is doing around the world?
Currently, I am a student at Biola University, which is allowing me not only to learn a lot in Theology and Apologetics but also to expand my worldview. I know from prior experience the incredible work that God allows us to join Him in, but this time, working with DCPI and experiencing the ministry's growth and the mighty things those doing it are doing worldwide is truly exhilarating! Lives are being transformed through the Gospel around the world!
What miracles have you seen God perform?
God has faithfully carried me through many seasons of transformation, including my current journey at Biola University. His grace and provision throughout my life continue to remind me that He is always at work, in miraculous ways!
