Bridging the Gap to the Gospel in Kazakhstan

Hope, a four-letter word for those who have never lived void of its existence, can be taken grossly for granted.

But in a place like Kazakhstan where suicide is among the highest in the world, a glimmer of hope can ignite a movement that wins thousands to the Kingdom!

Reports are coming in to DCPI of just that. Stories of hope that has begun to take root in this broken land and is now spreading through the equipping of more church planting leaders.

Leaders who understand that new churches build connection to their community and provide people hope. They know this is how they can best impact their nation for Christ.

One couple, leaders in this movement, Pastors Rick & Tina, have applied biblical principles taught in Church Planting Essentials effectively in their church plant.

Principles like the Bridge Principle, that says you must understand and communicate sensitively to the hearts and minds of the people in the church plant’s target community in order to build a bridge that will reach them with the gospel.

This is vital to a church plant’s success especially in an area where depression is rampant.

Rick & Tina have taken what is taught to the next level by creating a culture in their church that can be a place of hope for the next generation.

By involving them in projects such as feeding the homeless and providing them an outlet for healthy social interaction, Pastor Rick & Tina are witnessing firsthand what a church plant that places value on connection to the community can do in a place like Kazakhstan.

You’re making a difference and this is only the beginning!
