How did God call you to DCPI?
“God called me to DCPI through a friend who spoke to me about a mission that helps plant churches worldwide. I was excited to be a part of a Christian organization whose purpose is to teach and spread God’s word.”
What is your personal vision statement, or life scripture?
Life Scripture: Acts 20:24 – However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
“My life is not my own and my goal is to complete my mission here of service and testifying of God’s grace on me and my family.”
What excites you about what God is doing around the world?
“I get to see first hand the people DCPI is reaching around the world in places I never imagined.”
What miracles have you seen God perform?
“In 2009, my son was 13 years old when he suffered an AVM(arteriovenous malformation) rupture that left him with a complete left side deficit and loss of speech. Prior to this event I had been laid off from a job of 10 years and did not understand why this was happening to me. It was only through the experience of my son’s hospitalization and rehabilitation that I realized what God’s plan was for me. I have watched the miracle of my son having a plum sized portion of his brain removed and yet witnessed him overcome physical and cognitive adversities.”
Most influential books or movies:
“One of my favorite books is a Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers. This book talks about strong women of the Bible. I can relate to these women’s difficult experiences, because I had to be strong for my son and family when he was going through his trials.”
