James networks and coordinates with national leaders for effective DCPI ministry in the region[Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar and Mozambique].
He is passionate to see thousands of leaders trained and national church planting movements ignited to saturate the region with bible teaching and Christ centred churches to fulfil the Great Commission.
How did God call you to DCPI?
“In 2005, whilst working as Regional Manager for Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM), I helped mobilized over 90 church leaders for the 1st DCPI training in Malawi.
I participated in the training and was certified as a trainer. I enjoyed the training and felt connected to the DCPI vision. I drew a plan to take the program to as many church leaders as possible working in partnership with fellow trainers.
In 2009 I felt God’s call to full time ministry with DCPI. However, it was not until December 2016 after much prayer with my wife and consultations that I resigned from work with EAM and joined DCPI with effect from 1st January 2017.”
What is your personal vision statement, or life scripture?
Vision Statement: Reaching out to the whole person with the whole gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and making disciples who will live to impact communities for Christ to fulfil the Great Commission.
Life Scripture: John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Ephesians 4:11-13 – “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be build up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
What excites you about what God is doing around the world?
“It is exciting to see how God is using DCPI ministry to impact the planting of churches to reach the world for Christ.
Wherever I have been to church leaders applaud DCPI training as very practical and biblical. Most of those already in ministry wish they had gone through the training before they began their church planting work.
Now around the world today, God is bringing together the body of Christ, the Church, to advance his kingdom through effective evangelism and discipleship. There is no better and biblical way to be more effective in the mission of the Church than through planting churches everywhere.
The ministry of DCPI, working in partnership with leaders, denominations, associations and missions organizations everywhere, is impacting the planting of soul winning, disciple making and multiplying churches to reach the world for Christ.
The ministry is also providing an environment for the mushrooming of effective national church planting movements. I am excited about what God is doing through DCPI globally and it is a great honour to be part of such an effective global church-planting catalyst ministry.”
What miracles have you seen God perform?
“I will never forget the miracle of my salvation almost 25 years ago. I am forever grateful to God for the death and resurrection of Christ that brought me into his Kingdom.
Over the years I have seen God draw multitudes of people to Christ and it is always a joy to people see put their trust in Christ for salvation and transformation.
In addition I have also seen God perform different miracles in the lives of people and also in my own life in the area of divine healing, protection and provision of resources.
Now with my ministry with DCPI, the birth of new churches is God’s miracle. These new churches will leave to win and disciple souls for Christ and impact communities for the Kingdom and help meet the vision of 5 million churches to fulfil the Great Commission.”
