God is worthy of your trust! God loves you and He will bring you through every difficult situation you face.
In Psalm 20, as King David prepares to go into battle, the people of Israel join together and pray for him. The prayers of the people gave David great spiritual strength!
Through the prayers of the people, David was reminded that the battle belongs to the Lord and David and the people bravely proclaimed, Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 (ESV)
David knew that kings and their people usually trusted in powerful weapons and human strength, wisdom and strategy, but the nation of Israel was determined to put their trust in God.
In the lives of many of our Master Trainers at DCPI, God has given us reminders of the truth that the battle belongs to the Lord.
Our DCPI leaders in India, in spite of overwhelming challenges, are bravely putting their trust in the Lord. These leaders are moving forward with plans to train church planters all over their country. Their plan is train church planters, face-to-face, in small groups in the sizes which their country’s government is allowing during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will train small groups of leaders in over 450 places around their country. As an outcome, they are planning to train an astounding 7,000 leaders by the end of September who will be empowered to start a dynamic movement of dynamic, new churches throughout India. 2300 house groups were already begun in July.
These Indian leaders are motivated by the fact that the battle belongs to the Lord. Their bold step of faith demonstrates their trust in God!
