Then follow the Power Principle: Prayer is the indispensable source of God’s power and wisdom in each phase of church planting.
This is the second of the 12 Biblical Principles of Church Planting. Pray for God to pour his power into your life and ministry.
Jesus said, in Acts 1:8.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
How did the early disciples in Jerusalem respond? They prayed. Acts 1: 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. What happened next? The very first church was born in power on Pentecost in Jerusalem.
As they prayed, God empowered them to accomplish his vision to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.
It was during a Prayer Retreat in 2004 that the Lord said to me, “I want you to reach every country with our mission…even the hard ones.”
“REACH EVERY COUNTRY WITH OUR TRAINING”
By his favor, the King has empowered DCPI to train in 133 countries of the world so far. Wow, that’s amazing! We have 210 countries on our DCPI list. We must train in 77 new countries in the next 23 months.
If you are a Certified Trainer or a Master Trainer, pray and ask the Lord to give you favor to train in a new country. Send me an email. We will send you the list of new countries in which we need to train before the end of 2020.
You can choose a country, find a key leader there who gathers a team for training, take another trainer and GO! Report back. That is all there is to it. Simple. You can do that!
