Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Director of Online Learning. The Director of Online Learning will oversee the development, implementation, and management of DCPI’s online training programs, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with the organization’s mission of planting five million churches worldwide.

Strategy Statement:
The Director of Online Learning will enhance DCPI’s training programs by implementing and managing a robust, user-friendly online learning platform. This role will oversee the maintenance and design of online training courses, ensuring they are optimized for an effective online learning experience. By ensuring high-quality, engaging, and consistent content, and continuously improving the curriculum based on feedback and best practices, the Director of Online Learning will significantly expand DCPI’s reach and impact, enabling the organization to effectively train leaders worldwide and achieve its mission of planting five million churches.

About DCPI

DCPI is a non-profit (501c3) organization based in Oceanside, California with partners and staff working throughout the world. We train Christian leaders on every inhabited continent of the world to plant churches in their communities, in their languages. Because we primarily focus on supporting national leaders, we have seen God bring His Church to communities we could never reach in languages we could never speak. He has given us a vision to plant FIVE MILLION churches worldwide. We currently have over 500,000 leaders trained, who have planted over a million churches worldwide! Skills Needed

  • Proven experience in managing online learning platforms.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning best practices.
  • Proficiency with e-learning software and tools 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design engaging and effective online learning experiences.
  • Strong technical skills, including familiarity with web development and multimedia production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for the mission and values of a Christian worldwide training organization.

Responsibilities

Platform Management:

  • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

Online Training Maintenance and Design:

  • Maintain and update online training courses to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Design and develop new online training modules, incorporating multimedia elements to enhance engagement and learning.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create interactive and impactful e-learning experiences.

Curriculum Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for online learning, ensuring courses are designed for an optimal online experience.
  • Review and revise existing training materials to align with online learning best practices.
  • Ensure all courses meet quality standards and learning objectives.

Project Management:

  • Manage all aspects of online learning projects, from initial concept to final implementation.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, closely monitoring progress and addressing any issues or risks that arise.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Collect and analyze feedback from learners to continuously improve online training programs.
  • Implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of online courses.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in e-learning and recommend improvements to DCPI’s online training offerings.

Technical Duties:

  • Utilize e-learning software and tools to create and maintain online training content.
  • Stay informed about the latest e-learning technologies and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and learners as needed.

 

Accountability

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Product Development
