HOPE! The people of the world need hope.

This pandemic has caused people worldwide to stay home. We have seen hundreds of thousands of deaths. An untold number of people have lost their jobs. This has caused a Ripeness Factor for the Good News of Jesus Christ among people around the globe.

A Ripeness Factor is a time in which something happens that causes people to reevaluate what they believe and why. It can be a change in government, an economy in danger, a natural disaster, or a pandemic.

It is during these times that people are searching for answers to their life questions. It does not mean that they are looking only to Christianity for those answers, but simply that they are in Search mode. Certainly, people are more open to Christ during these times. COVID-19 has produced a worldwide Ripeness Factor.

Most churches operating online have reported a great increase in the people they are reaching. Recently, I shared with you the story of one of our Master Trainers, who shared the gospel using Facebook Live. More than 1,000 people came to Christ!

The heart of Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) is not simply church planting. We are convicted that church planting is God’s most effective tool to see multitudes of people come to Christ and become strong disciples. Our heart is truly evangelism and discipleship.

What the people of the world need most right now is HOPE! We must share HOPE with our friends and neighbors. The greatest way to bring HOPE is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! The verse is Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
