Vietnam is in Southeast Asia. It lies on the eastern side of the Indochina Peninsula. There are about 90.5 million people who live there and it is the world's 13th-most populated country.

I love the comment in the Maxwell Study Bible regarding the story of this poor widow who came to Elisha for help: “There is something about ‘nothing’ that moves God’s hand. He loves leading us to empty places where we can lean only upon His provision.” Typically, a new church begins with nothing but a God-given vision. There are no people. There is no money. There is no building. There is just the leader and the vision. The lack of resources forces the leader to become completely dependent upon God for everything. As a result, the miracles begin. The people are gathered. The money comes. The facility is provided. The church is born and grows. Then, too often . . .
